Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 big bunch of palak leaves


  • 200 gm of fresh paneer


  • 1tsp of cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp of whole garam masala


  • 3 tsp of onion, ginger , garlic, green chilli paste


  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder


  • 4 tbsp of fresh cream


  • 1 tsp of kasoori methi powder


  • 4 tbsp of vegetable oil

Directions

  • Blanch the spinach leaves for 5 minutes , then immediately transfer it into a bowl full of cold water, in order to retain the green colour
  • When cool , puree it into a fine mixture. Keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Add cumin and whole garam masala.
  • Add onion, ginger, garlic and chilli paste
  • Saute it for 10 minutes
  • Meanwhile cut the paneer in cubes.
  • Add the pureed spinach miixture.
  • Keep the flame low .
  • Add fresh cream when it had reduced to half of its quantity
  • Now add in the paneer cubes.
  • Cook till the paneer is done. Lightly fry the apnder.
  • Lastly sprinkle some kasoori methi
