Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 150 grams spinach leaves


  • 1 onion


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 2 garlic cloves


  • 1 sping of curry leaf


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 10 peanuts


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 cup toor dal

Directions

  • Take toor dal in pressure cooker. Add turmeric, garlic, tomato, spinach in it and 2 cup water. Cook for 3 whistles.
  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  • Add chopped onions, curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  • Add salt, coriander powder and mix well.
  • add peanuts and let it come to boil.
  • Add water if required and bring it to boil.
  • Heat some oil and add red chilli powder in it.
  • add this tempering onto the daal and mix well.
  • serve hot.
