Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • For Rassa Aloo:


  • 4-5 potatoes


  • 2 tomatoes (grated)


  • 1 tablespoon ghee


  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)


  • 1 cup water


  • Salt (to taste)


  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala


  • For Heart shape pooris:


  • 1 cup whole wheat flour


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • Water (for kneading the dough)


  • Oil (for deep frying)

Directions

  • For making Rassa Aloo:
  • Boil the potatoes and peel them. Cut them into cubes.
  • Heat a pan. Add ghee. Add tomato paste to it and cook well.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix well.
  • Add potato cubes to it.
  • Add water and cook for around 7-8 minutes.
  • For making Heart shape pooris :
  • Add wheat flour to a bowl. Add salt and knead the dough using water.
  • Take a ball size dough. Roll it. Cut it in heart shape.
  • Similarly make all the heart shape pooris.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Deep fry the pooris.
  • Serve with Rassa Aloo
