  • 500 gm chhana ( home made cottage cheese)

  • 125 gm sugar

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/2 tsp saffron

  • 1 tsp rose water

  • 1 tbsp Chopped pistachios.


  • Mashed chhana by hand and make it soft
  • Mix smooth chhana with sugar and cook on low heat.
  • Add cardamom powder, rose water and continually stirring to make it dry.
  • Remove from the heat and knead to make it smooth.
  • Make small ball and shape it like heart.
  • Put each sandesh in the paper cup.
  • Put pinch of saffron milk on the middle of each sandesh and chopped pistachios.
  • Sandra is ready
