Serves 4

  • all purpose flour 125 grams

  • egg 1/2 number

  • salt 2 grams

  • milk 35 ml

  • water 25 ml

  • active dry yeast 4 grams

  • sugar 10 grams

  • butter 8 grams

  • Nutella 2 tablespoon

  • caster sugar 50 grams

  • sprinklers 2 tablespoon

    Combine water with milk. Add yeast and sugar and mix well.

    Mix well till sugar dissolves well.

    In a bowl add salt in yeast mixture to it. Add half egg and mix well.

    Add all purpose flour to it. Mix well with spatula until it is well combined. Knead with hands for 5 minutes.

    Add butter to the dough and knead again for 5 more minutes .Let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place. After 30 minutes punch the dough to release the air. Let it rest for another 30 more minutes.

    when the dough is risen , roll into one inch thickness.

    with the heart shape cookie cutter ,press and cut according to the size.

    Same way using small heart shaped Cookie Cutter cut into small heart pieces.

    Rest the heart shaped doughnuts for just 6 minutes to rise well.

    Meanwhile heat oil in a pan and fry the risen doughnuts on low heat

    when it is done Sprinkle some caster sugar and place it on a tissue paper. Caster sugar has to be Sprinkle when it is still warm.

    Another batch of doughnuts can be dipped in Nutella

    Sprinkle some colour sprinklers on top of the Nutella spread doughnuts

    Valentine doughnuts are ready to serve with cold or hot milk
