Valentine's Nutella Doughnuts

Serves : 4
  • all purpose flour 125 grams

  • egg 1/2 number

  • salt 2 grams

  • milk 35 ml

  • water 25 ml

  • active dry yeast 4 grams

  • sugar 10 grams

  • butter 8 grams

  • Nutella 2 tablespoon

  • caster sugar 50 grams

  • sprinklers 2 tablespoon


  • Combine water with milk. Add yeast and sugar and mix well.
  • Mix well till sugar dissolves well.
  • In a bowl add salt in yeast mixture to it. Add half egg and mix well.
  • Add all purpose flour to it. Mix well with spatula until it is well combined. Knead with hands for 5 minutes.
  • Add butter to the dough and knead again for 5 more minutes .Let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place. After 30 minutes punch the dough to release the air. Let it rest for another 30 more minutes.
  • when the dough is risen , roll into one inch thickness.
  • with the heart shape cookie cutter ,press and cut according to the size.
  • Same way using small heart shaped Cookie Cutter cut into small heart pieces.
  • Rest the heart shaped doughnuts for just 6 minutes to rise well.
  • Meanwhile heat oil in a pan and fry the risen doughnuts on low heat
  • when it is done Sprinkle some caster sugar and place it on a tissue paper. Caster sugar has to be Sprinkle when it is still warm.
  • Another batch of doughnuts can be dipped in Nutella
  • Sprinkle some colour sprinklers on top of the Nutella spread doughnuts
  • Valentine doughnuts are ready to serve with cold or hot milk
