Apple-banana Sponge Cake

  • 1.5 cup all purpose flour

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 apple

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 4-5 cherry

  • 1/2 cup curd

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  • Preheat your kadai or cooker or oven, whatever you want.
  • Grease you cake tin with oil or butter and sprinkle flour all around. Tap and remove the access flour from it.
  • Sieve, all purpose flour, backing powder and backing soda.
  • In a bowl, take melted butter, add oil, and curd and beat until it becomes fluffy.
  • Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract and again beat 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add half flour into the bowl and mix by cut and fold method.
  • Now add the remaining flour and again mix by cut and fold method.
  • Cake batter is ready.
  • Cut your apple and banana into thin slice.
  • Pour half batter into cake tin, then spread sliced banana over it.
  • Now pour the remaining batter and give design with sliced apple at the top.
  • Tap the cake tin 2 times and placed into the kadai or cooker or oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • After 45 minutes, cake is ready.
  • When it becomes cool completely, spread cherry and powdered sugar. Serve
