Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 300 gms strawberry


  • 1 bowl short rice


  • 2 tblspn white wine


  • 1 1/2 tspn salt


  • 1 tspn sugar


  • 1/2 tspn black pepper


  • 2 tspn cornflour


  • 2 tblspn oil


  • 1 tspn chat masala

Directions

  • Blanch strawberries in very little water.
  • Now strain it but don not drain the water of it.
  • Now boil the short rice by adding little little water in a gap.
  • Use all the remaining water in boiling the rice.
  • Rice should be thick.
  • On the other hand in a smalll bowl add sugar, white wine and one tspn salt.
  • Mix it very well so that sugar is dissolved in it.
  • After dissolving, pour this in the boiling rice.
  • Mix it welll so that it is combined to each other.
  • switch off the gas and let it cool down.
  • Now take a large mixing bowl and add blanched strawberries in it.
  • Mash it properly.
  • Now add cooled rice in the mixing bowl.
  • Then add remaining salt, black pepper, cornflour and chat masala in it.
  • Mix it very well so that they are combined to each other properly.
  • Then make Heart shape cutlets with cookie cutter.
  • On the other hand heat the flat pan and brush it with oil.
  • Put one by one all the cutlets on the pan.
  • But the cutlets should not be very close to each other.
  • When starts getting light red and crisp from the bottom, flip it.
  • The cutlets should be light red and crisp from both the sides.
  • When it is turn light red in color and crisp from both the sides of the cutlet, then transfer it to the plate.
  • Now serve hot with mayonnaisse, ketchup or green chutney.
  • The dip is of choice.
  • The tangy taste of rice makes it more tastier when it is cooked in white wine.
