Satvik Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer Butter Masala is a popular Indian vegetarian recipe. It is perfect combination of spiciness and rich creamy butter & tomato. Satvik Paneer butter masala is without onion & garlic and easy to prepare at home. Those are who like satvik food; it is good taste paneer dish.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Paneer (cubes cut) – 70 g approx


  • Tomatoes - 8 medium size


  • Ginger - 1 inch


  • Kashmiri Red Chili Powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Garam Masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon


  • Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasoori Methi) – 1 teaspoon


  • Butter - 2 tablespoons


  • Fresh Cream - 7 tablespoons


  • Salt to taste- 1 teaspoon


  • Refined Oil - 2-3 tablespoons


  • Water– 4 cups

Directions

  • Boil the fresh tomatoes to make fine puree by using grinder.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped ginger fry for 1-2 minutes till ginger in brown color.
  • Add tomato puree and cook 8 – 10 minutes till slightly oil separation.
  • Add Kashmiri Red Chilli powder, Garam Masala powder, Sugar, fresh cream, salt to taste mix well and cook for 2 – minutes.
  • Add butter and dried fenugreek leaves and further cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cook for another 1 -2 minutes after addition of paneer.
  • Turn off flame and garnish with cream.
