Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250 gms garlic


  • 4 tbsp yellow mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds


  • 1 tsp mangrail


  • 2 tsp fennel seeds


  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida


  • 1 cups mustard oil


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 1.5 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder

Directions

  • Peel,wash and dry the garlic cloves.
  • Dry roast all the spices and then roughly make powder.
  • Heat the oil in a nonstick kadhai add the garlic cloves and turmeric powder and saute on a slow flame till they are soft.
  • Add the lemon juice and cook on slow flame for two minutes.
  • Add the chilly powder and salt, and grinded masala in it mix well and cook for another two minutes.
  • Remove from the flame ,cool and store in a sterillised glass jar.
  • Pickle is ready after one week enjoy.
