Pineapple Cake (My Own Birthday Cake Made By Me Itself)

Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 2 cup maida


  • 1/2 cup curd


  • 1/4 cup oil


  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • 1 tsp pineapple essence


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1 tin canned pineapple


  • 250 gm whipped cream


  • Powder colour of your own choice i used blue, red and orange just to spray/sprinkle on rose 1/4 teaspoon each

Directions

  • Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 150 degrees
  • Sieve dry ingredients
  • Whisk sugar,oil and curd
  • Add pineapple essence and mix
  • Add dry ingredients in batches and mix in cut and fold method
  • Transfer in heart shaped greased baking disc and bake it for 45 minutes
  • Cool down and cut in 3 layers
  • Apply juice of canned pineapple on upper sides of cake, put some chopped pineapple pc's , spread whipped cream over it and flatten it with palette knife
  • Put chopped pineapple again for the second layer and apply some whipped cream on it and cover with another slice of cake
  • Wet it with syrup and apply whipped cream over it flatten it
  • Make flowers and leaves on top with whipped cream, spray powder colours of your own choice
  • Serve decorated.... my birthday is ready to serve
