All Purpose Flour 1 cups
Sugar 3/4 cups
Cocoa Powder 1/2 cups
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Buttermilk 1/2 cups
Vegetable Oil 1/4 cups
Eggs 2 nos
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Hot Coffee 1/2 cups
For Chocolate Icing :-
Dark Chocolate 100 grms
Amul Cream 1/4 cup
Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl combine buttermilk, oil, eggs and vanilla essence.
With the mixer on low speed, slowely add the wet ingredients to the dry.
With mixer still on low, add the coffee and stir just to combine, scraping the bottom of the bowl with the spatula.
Now our chocolate cake batter is ready.
For the suprise pink heart cake make the same batter just omit cocoa powder from it and add 2-3 drops of pink food color to it.
Bake the pink cake on swiss roll tray and bake at 180°C for 15 mins.
Now cool and cut the cake into heart shape using cookie cutter.
Now tak a loaf pan and add little chocolate cake batter the arrange the hearts in it tightly and then pour the rest of the chocolate batter to it.
Bake at pre-heated oven at 180°C for 28mins.
Cool and Frost.
For Chocolate Icing take chopped dark chocolate in a bowl.
Add amul cream and heat for 30 sec to 1 min in microwave.
Make a smooth chocolate sauce and use as frosting.
