Strawberry Cake With Fondant

  • 1 cup flour 1 tbsp flour

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 cup powder sugar

  • 6-7 strawberries finely chopped

  • 100 gram milkmaid

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 packet of strawberry oats

  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds

  • 1 tbsp chopped cashew nuts

  • 1 cup sugar syrupFor icing---

  • 2 cup whipped cream for crumb coating

  • 300 gram Fondant as per required

  • 2 tbsp sprinkles for dacoration


  • Sprinkle some flour on chopped strawberries and toss them
  • Mix all dry ingredients and sieve them
  • Take oil and sugar in a bowl and whisk finely
  • Then add milkmaid and whisk
  • Add nuts and oats in strawberries
  • Now mix dry ingredients in wet ingredients
  • Lastly add strawberries ,nuts and oats mixture in battar and fold it
  • Check consistency if required add some milk
  • Preheat ovan and grease and line a pan
  • Pour battar in it and tap it
  • Bake for 25 to 30 180 degree
  • Check it with a knife if it came out clean then cake is ready
  • Let it cool
  • Then xut in horizontal
  • Brush with sugar syrup on one part
  • And cover with whipped cream
  • Take other piece of cake and civer it
  • Brush sugar syrup and cream this also
  • Then cream the whole cake from outside and keep in freeze for 2 hours to set
  • Then take fondant add colour as you wish
  • Roll down and cover the cake
  • Cut flowers with cutters and dacorate cake
  • Lastly use sprinkles and apply on cake
  • Make small balls of fondant and arrange them on outer side of cake
