Soak rice for 2 hours and grind it to fine paste with little water along with ginger,chilly and ajwan seeds..The batter should not be too thick nor too thin.add salt and mix well.
Grease the plate with oil .Pour a ladle of of batter and spread thinly as u do for making dosai.Steam it in idli pan/steamer.
.In about 3-5 minuted it will be done.If u see the colour change then it is done.Remove from flame.peel it from the leaf( if will easily come).Cut in to pieces.Spread on clothes and dry it in sunlight for 2 or 3 days.
After it has dried well keep it in air tight container,fry them in oil ,serve with rice or can be had as snack.
