Ingredients

  • Raw rice-1 cup


  • Ginger- a small 1 cm length piece


  • green chilly-1


  • ajwan seeds-1\2 tsp


  • 1 tsp Salt to taste

Directions

  • Soak rice for 2 hours and grind it to fine paste with little water along with ginger,chilly and ajwan seeds..The batter should not be too thick nor too thin.add salt and mix well.
  • Grease the plate with oil .Pour a ladle of of batter and spread thinly as u do for making dosai.Steam it in idli pan/steamer.
  • .In about 3-5 minuted it will be done.If u see the colour change then it is done.Remove from flame.peel it from the leaf( if will easily come).Cut in to pieces.Spread on clothes and dry it in sunlight for 2 or 3 days.
  • After it has dried well keep it in air tight container,fry them in oil ,serve with rice or can be had as snack.
