  • lemon-1 kg

  • suger-1/2 kg

  • salt-1/2 cup

  • Red chilly powder-4-5 tsp

  • Hing-1 tsp


  • Rinse the lemon and wipe them with a cloth.There should be no moisture in the lemon.
  • chop the lemon into bite sized piece or triangles piece.
  • Add salt ,hing,suger and red chilly powder and mix well.
  • cover the pot with muslin cloth and keep this in sun light for one month.
  • keep mixing in every once in a day.
  • After one month when lemon peel become soft and the syrup become thick, keep it in a jar .
