Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 tbsp grated raw turmeric


  • 2 tbsp grated gooseberry


  • 1 tbsp grated ginger


  • 2 and 1 tbsp lemon juice


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1 cup frooty drink


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 1/2 cup jaggery

Directions

  • Take grated turmeric and ginger in bowl add 1 tbsp lemon juice and salt mix and keep in strainer for 1 hour to remove the bitterness
  • After an hour take mix grated ginger and turmeric and wash it with water only 1 time
  • Now take jaggery in a cooking pot add some water and add washed grated ginger, tumeric and add grated gooseberry in this and keep on low flame to cook it for 12 to 15 minutes
  • Other side take frooty drink and sugar in a pan and keep on flame
  • Now add cooked jaggery and grated turmeric, ginger and gooseberry mixture and mix
  • Add lemon juice and cook it to till perfect consistency
  • To check the consistency pour a drop on plate and rest for 5 to 8 seconds when it's flow than cook it again for few minutes (if pour the drop of mixture, rest few seconds if drop is set ) the consistency is perfect
  • Now take sterile jar pour hot mixture in this to set like marmalade
  • When it's set and cool serve with bread or bun.
