  • Chenopodium Album 1 kg

  • Gram flour 1/2 cup

  • Salt 2 tbs


  • Firstly pluck the leaves then clean and wash them.
  • Place them over the kitchen towel and press them so that they can dry.
  • Meanwhile take a large mixing bowl add gram flour and water to make a batter. Batrer should be kind of runny.
  • Whisk and add salt. Now pour the half batch of leaves.
  • Coat well and assemble it by taking small portion. Press and give cylindrical shape.
  • Now repeat the process and make other.
  • Now sundried the bathua leaves for 3-4 days. Turn them occassionally.
  • Now when its sundried place them in a air tight container.
  • When u need to consume , deep fried them in low flame and add to curry.
