Sweet & Saur Cauliflower Pickle

Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 500grms Cauliflower


  • 1 big spoon mastard seeds


  • 1 tsp fennel


  • 1tsp fenugreek seeds


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp turmeric


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 50-60 grms Jaggery


  • 50 ml vinegar


  • 1 cup mastard oil

Directions

  • Heat mastard oil in a pan
  • Cut cauliflowers into small pieces
  • When oil becomes very hot turn off the flame
  • Now add all the spices like turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, crushed mastard seeds, fenugreek, fennel and cauliflowers
  • Make sure the oil should be hot. Mix well the cauliflowers with the spices
  • Take another pan and add vinegar and jaggery. Cook for 2-3mins
  • Cool down the jaggery and mix in cauliflowers
  • Now put the pickle in a jar and keep in sunlight for 2-3 days
  • Sweet and Saur pickle is ready
