  • 1/2 kg of carrots

  • 100 grams of green garlic

  • 4 tbsp mustard oil

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 2 teaspoons red chilli powder

  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds


  • start by cutting carrot into small pieces
  • finely chopped green garlic
  • mix carrot and green garlic together
  • Add salt to taste
  • add chilli powder and turmeric powder
  • add mustard seeds
  • Now the mustard oil and let it cool
  • pour over the mixture and stir
  • Now feel these ingredients in sterilized glass jar
  • next day this pickle can be consumed
  • It stays good upto 15 days normal at room temperature
  • this pickle does not need any Sunshine or any type of proofing to be made
