Murabba (Raw Mango)

Ingredients

Raw mangoes grated – ½ cup (5-6 tbsp) (Preferably Totapuri)
Sugar – 3-4 tbsp
Green Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
Kesar Strands – 8-9 (Optional)
Salt - 1/4 tsp or a small pinch
For Tempering - Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 ½ tsp
Ground Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Directions
In a Nonstick pan take grated raw mango. Add sugar, kesar strands and cook for 4-5 minutes until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens.
Add cardamom powder and salt mix well.
In sauce pan or tadka pan, heat oil. Add ground black pepper, cumin powder and red chili powder.
Pour this tadka over a prepared Mango Murabba. Stir well. Murraba is ready.
