Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • Raw mangoes grated – ½ cup (5-6 tbsp) (Preferably Totapuri)


  • Sugar – 3-4 tbsp


  • Green Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp


  • Kesar Strands – 8-9 (Optional)


  • Salt - 1/4 tsp or a small pinch


  • For Tempering - Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp


  • Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp


  • Oil – 1 ½ tsp


  • Ground Black pepper - 1/4 tsp

Directions

  • In a Nonstick pan take grated raw mango. Add sugar, kesar strands and cook for 4-5 minutes until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens.
  • Add cardamom powder and salt mix well.
  • In sauce pan or tadka pan, heat oil. Add ground black pepper, cumin powder and red chili powder.
  • Pour this tadka over a prepared Mango Murabba. Stir well. Murraba is ready.
