  • 1 cup peanuts

  • 1/2 cup roasted gram

  • 1/2 cup flax seeds

  • 10 red chillies

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 5 pods garlic

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • Heat a pan and dry roast flaxseeds lightly.
  • Transfer this to a plate and to the same pan add peanuts and roast until you get nice aroma.
  • To the same pan add garlic, grams and cumin. wait untill it heats up well. and keep this aside.
  • Add 1 tbsp oi to the same pan and fru red chillies.
  • When it cools make fine powder of these red chillies.
  • Add res of the ingredients and blend to powder.
  • store this podi in an airtight container.
