  • 10 lemons

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 3 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp tumeric powder

  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds

  • 2 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp asafoetida


  • Wash the lemon and cut into 8 wedges.Keep in a clean bowl with juice and add salt
  • Take a pan dry roast the fenugreek seeds and make a powder using blender
  • Add this fenugreek powder,red chilly powder , tumeric powder to the salt lemon mixture bowl
  • Take a pan add seasame oil then add mustard seeds and asafoetida when mustard seed starts crackle switch off the flame,then it should be cool completely
  • Then add this oil in the lemon mixture and mix it well properly
  • Store in a clean airtight container to develop the flavours
  • Its gets softer when it matured for 10 to 15 days
  • Then its ready to eat with Paratha,rice
