Gooseberry – 1 kg Sugar – 700 grams jaggery- 50 grams
Wash gooseberries thoroughly with water. and Boil for 2-3 minutes. Then drain out the excess water from it and allow it to cool down completely. Separate its edges and place them in a bowl.
Add the sugar and. jaggery into the gooseberries. Cover the bowl and keep it aside for 3 days. After 3 days, strain out the gooseberries through a sieve. Spread them on a plate or a polythene sheet. Place it under the sun for 2 days so that it gets dried completely.
Add powdered sugar in the dries gooseberries candy. Mix it really well. Transfer it to a bowl. Amla candy is now ready.
