  • 1 plate full of Drumsticks leaves

  • 5-6 pesticide free/organic desi rose

  • 1 microwave proof glass dinner plate/tray

    Wash drumstick leaves discarding the stems, keep it in a strainer to drain out all the water.

    Take just the petals of rose, rinse them 2-3 times gently, drain n keep them on a strainer/sieve too

    Spread drumstick leaves evenly on the plate, microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes

    Leaves will be soggy at this stage, break them and spread again evenly, microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes

    Again break and spread and microwave on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes.

    You will get a crispy plate full of Drumsticks leaves in 7-8 minutes.

    Spread it n leave to cooldown completely

    You can store them as it is or powder them in mixie

    Use this superfood in lentils, soups, sambhar, add a spoonful in vegitables you cook.

    Now spread the rose petals in the plate

    Microwave for 1 minute on HIGh, check n repeat the process 2 more times

    Crispy rose petals will be ready to store in 3 minutes

    Use them on kheer/phirni/kulfi, ice creams or on any desserts. Or just spread around while clicking pictures of your food to add to the contests!

    You can also preserve fenugreek leaves/spinach/mint or other flowers like hibiscus using same peocess.
