  • 5 large peaches

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup sugar


  • wash and peel the peaches finely chopped or make puree. heat a pan add chopped peaches. Add sugar mix well and cook on low flame.. sugar will melt and it became watery. continuously stirring. when peaches are soft mash them . Add salt and lemon juice. mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. when thicken check the consistancy . to check the consistancy pour 1 tbs of jam on a glass plate . it is ready now . let it cool. put it in sterilized glass bottle..
