  • 1 kgs apple

  • 800 gms sugar

  • 1 nos small beetroot

  • 5 gms citric acid


  • Wash the apples.
  • Cut the apples in round shape.
  • Take a vessel add water and dip the apples and beetroot into it. Then put it on gas stove.
  • Once it's totally cooked, then mix it with the help of a hand blender.
  • Sieve it with the help of a Siever.
  • Cook the pulp and sugar in a clean vessel and stir it continusly.
  • Add citric acid after 20 minutes.
  • Now do the plate test, in a plate add one spoon jam. Once cooled slide the plate if it comes out thick then your jam is ready.
  • Pour hot in a clean glass jar.
  • When it cool close the lid.
