  • Orange 2 kg

  • Sugar 1 kg

  • Water 1 ltr

  • Lemon juice 4 tbs

  • Potassium Metabisulphate 1/2 tbs

  • Saffron 1 pinch


  • First start with making sugar syrup in a large sauce pan , combine water and sugar and let the sugar melt completely.
  • Next add lemon juice and stir. Next simmer for 5 minutes till sugar syrup thickens a bit.
  • Remove from heat and let the solution become warm.
  • Filter the solution to remove impurities. Next crush thd saffron ,add to the solution and mix while its warm. Next cool the syrup completely.
  • Now start making the orange juice and sterlize the jar while its cooling.
  • Extract the juice ,sieve it and we need to pour it to the sugar syrup otherwise it will become bitter.
  • After that take 1/4 th cup water, add potassium Metabisulphate and combine well. And add this to orange squash and stir.
  • Now pour the squash in sterlize jar and let it settle down. Then refrigerate it for settle down of squash for 3-4 days.
  • After that serve the juice by adding half part of water. Enjoy.
  • Tips: Use stelize jar woth clean and dry hands. Shake the bottle before use. You can use ice cubes and also serve with mint leaves and lemons.
