Take a pan add butter and cook it on low flames.
Butter starts melting, mix it continuously in medium flame.
You will get sizzling sound while butter melting and white milk solids also form, mix it well.
After few minutes sizzling sound reduce and white milk solids starts changing color. Do not increase flames.
When sizzling sound stops it means that ghee is prepared, by that time white milk solids too changes color. Switch off flames and keep pan aside till ghee reaches to room temperature.
Now take a dry air tight glass container and strain ghee into it. That's it tasty ghee is ready.
In order to preserve it for long time keep it in refrigerator.
You can add curry leaves, drumstick leaves, Methi seeds or betel leaf while preparing ghee in order to get good flavour. As I loves to prepare wheat flour ladoo's using left over milk solids of ghee I did not added any mentioned ingredients.
