  • Milk cream/malai - 1 bowl

  • Plain yogurt - 1/2 tsp


  • Collect milk cream/malai from milk daily for mininum 10 days and preserve it in container.
  • Once your container filled take it out from refrigerator and add 1/2 tsp of yogurt and keep it outside for 4 to 6 hrs depending on the climate
  • Now add ice cube or water to the above and beat the cream with churner or blender for 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Butter gets start to separate from buttermilk. Collect the butter and wash it under water.
  • Wash till you get clean water, then take butter into container and store it in refrigerator.
  • We can prepare Ghee using this butter or we can use it to prepare cakes, cookies, snack etc. Preserve butter in refrigerator and use it long time.
