  • 500 grams fresh methi/fenugreek leaves

  • 2-3 small zip bag or airtight container

  • 1 cotton cloth


  • Pluck the leaves of fenugreek leaves and dicard its stem.
  • Thoroughly wash the leaves. Allow them to dry out completely.
  • Now we have two methods to dry methi leaves.
  • (1) First is to spread methi leaves on a paper or cotton cloth and dry it in sun light till it dry completely.
  • And then crumbled with hand and store in an airtight container.
  • (2) second method is using the microwave.
  • Spread the methi leaves evenly in microwave plates and microwave it at 60% power for 5 minutes.
  • Stir a little in between again microwave it at 80% power for two minutes.
  • Turn off the microwave and give it a 10 minutes standing time .
  • Once it's very dry it can be crumbled by hand or through mixture.
  • Store kasuri methi in airtight container or a zip bag in a cool dry place away from moisture and humidity.
  • And use kasuri methi all the year long.
