  • 2 1/2 cups rose petals

  • 6 tblspn sugar


  • Collect the fresh and fragrant rose petals.
  • Now wash it and let them dry.
  • Put the rose petals in the mixing jar and shred them once or twice.
  • You can chop also the petals.
  • Now take a clean jar.
  • Now first of all spread the layer of rose petals in the jar.
  • Then spread the layer of sugar over the rose petals layer.
  • Then again spread the layer of rose petals over the sugar layer.
  • Then sugar layer over the rose petals layer.
  • Repeat this till it ends.
  • Now cover it with tight lid and keep the jar in the sun for more then a week.
  • But daily mix the gulkand with the spoon.
  • After that our gulkand will be ready.
  • It can be store for more then a year in the refrigerator.
  • But it should be in a air tigjt container.
