  • Lemon 250 grams

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Red chili powder 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander cumin roasted powder 2 tbsp

  • Salt 1 tsp or according to taste and health

  • Oil 6 tbsp

  • Ginger julienne 1 tsp

  • Hing (Asafoetida) powder 1/2 tsp


  • In a pressure cooker take the lemons and a pinch salt and boil until they are squizzed.
  • Now cut them into pieces and discard the seeds.
  • Now add the all dry masalas except hing and mix very well.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the hing, ginger and black mustard.
  • When the mustard starts to splatter..pour the oil over the lemons.
  • Mix properly.
  • Check seasoning.
  • Your instant lemon pickle is ready to consume.
