Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 100 gm tamarind


  • 1/2 spoon salt


  • 2 cup water


  • 1 cup suger


  • 5-6Soaked dry dates


  • 1 spoon coriander powder


  • 1 spoon aniseed powder


  • 1/2 spoon cumin seeds


  • 1/2 spoon black salt


  • 1/2 spoon balack pepper powder

Directions

  • Soak tamarind for 5 min in luke warm water. cut dates in slices.
  • Mash it nicely and take aut pulp with help of strainer.
  • Now heat a pan, put tamarind pulp till boil.
  • Now add suger, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, aniseed powder, chopped dates and black paper powder.
  • Now boil it for 5 minute on medium flame.
  • It will become thick
  • Switch off flame.
  • Add salt
  • Mix well. Your chuteny is ready to serve.
  • You can preserve it for 6 month. Keep in jar.
