  • moong dal-1 cup

  • asafoetida-1 tsp

  • oil-1 tsp

Directions

  • 01

    clean,wash and soak the moong dal for 6-7 hours. drain and grind the moong dal to a smooth paste without using any water.

    add asafetida and mix well.

  • 03

    Take a greased thali and put the mixture in fingers and drop the small balls on thali at similar distance. you can put the mixture in a piping bag and pipe out small dots on greased thali.

  • 04

    keep the moongodies in the sun light for 2-3 days or untill the moongodies dry out completely.

  • 05

    store in an air tight container and cook as required.
