Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250 gms rose


  • 500 gms sugar


  • 200 ml water


  • 2 cups hot water


  • 1 cups pure rosewater


  • 1 nos small beetroot


  • 2 gms citric acid

Directions

  • Separate the petals from the rose.
  • Wash it 2-3 times.
  • Drain out the water.
  • In a bowl add 2 cups of boiling water and add rose petals into it cover with lid and keep it for 10 hours.
  • In a vessel add sugar, beetroot pieces and water and keep it on gas stove and heat till it dissolves and forms sugar syrup.
  • Keep it to cool.
  • Once cooled add citric acid and boil for 5 mins.
  • Sieve the sugar syrup
  • Add the soaked rose petals into mixer and give it a churn, then sieve it with the help of a cotton cloth.
  • Add the sieved rose into the sugar syrup and mix 1 cup of Rosewater.
  • Then fill it into a bottle.
  • Seal the cap with the help of wax.
