Steam amla/gooseberry for 10-15 minutes and deseed it when cooled down.
In a mixer jar, grind amlas to make fine paste.
Heat a non stick pan, add amla paste along with all the ingredients except sesame seeds.
Cook the paste on medium flame and keep on stirring to avoid sticking at the base or sides of the pan. Add sesame seeds too. Mix nicely . After 10-15 min, jam will be ready.
Let it cooled down and store in sterilised mason jar. Its shelf life is 6 months.
In winters Gooseberry is available in plenty in India and it provides immunity to our body. It is a rich source of vitamin C. Spread this jam on bread slice or roti or Enjoy it as it is.
