  • 1 1/2 cup til / sesame seeds.

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • 1 tsp greated coconut

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1 pinch nutmeg powder


  • Dry roast sesame seeds and grind it coarsely in mixer grinder.
  • Heat ghee in a saucepan and add the sesame powder, saute on low flame for 1 minute.
  • Meanwhile grind sugar and switch off the stove.
  • Add sugar , cardamom powder and nytmeg powder and mix well when the mixture is hot.
  • Switch on the stove and add some ghee if required , we need the mixture to be thick and sticky.
  • Grease a plate with ghee and spread all this mixture on it evenly.
  • Sprinkle grated coconut on it and dab with a spatula.
  • Using a knife cut it into diamond pieces and let it cool completely.
  • Take out gently from the plate and transfer in an airtight container. store in cool and dry place.
