Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1/2 cups pistachos


  • 1/2 cups cashewnuts


  • 1/2 cups almond


  • 1/2 cups walnut


  • 1/2 cups raisins


  • 1/2 cups gond/ dinka / (edible glue)


  • 1/2 cups sugar or as required


  • 1 pinch nutmeg powder


  • 1 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1/2 cups dry dates powder

Directions

  • Take ghee in a pan and let it heat
  • Crush gond and saute in the ghee for 5 minutes. It will become crunchy and easily breakable.
  • Make powder of all the dry nuts seperately and add it into the gond one by one.
  • Mix all the ingredients along with dates powder well and switch off the stove. Finally add sugar and mix well.
  • Add raisins , nutmeg powder, cardamom powder and mix.
  • Grease hand with ghee and make small ladoo's.
  • Store them in an airtight jar. You can use dates, fig as sweetner if you don't want to use sugar.
  • These ladoo's are preferably eaten in winters and are very good for women post pregnancy.
