  • 1/2 cup Semolina (Rava)

  • 1 1/2 cup Rice

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tbsp papad powder

  • 1 tbsp salt or to taste

  • 6 cup water

  • 1 pinch of baking soda

  • 1/2 cup sabudana


  • In the big vessel wash and soak the Rice for 6 hours.
  • Next drain the rice from water, dry in home under fan on wet cotton cloth.
  • When they completely dried , take the rice, add sabudana, rava, mix well and make a smooth flour in miller or grinder.
  • Next sieve this flour and keep aside
  • After add water in vessel and allow it to boil .
  • In the water add salt, soda, papad power mix well.
  • Further add sabudana, rava, and rice flour mixture little by little and stir continuously upto lumps free and it becomes thick .
  • Now off the flame. Add cumin seeds give a good mix And cool them completely.
  • Further more take the chakli maker put the small holes mould or seviyan mould then add rice mixture dough.
  • On the dry cloth or polythene cover make the seviyan papad or chakali's for 2 to 3 rounds or as your desire shape or round.
  • Lastly dry in under sunlight for 2-3 days. After 3 days they removes easily . Then store in airtight containers as longer time.
  • When you want take the seviyan papad airfrying in hot oil. After serve with as your wish.
  • Finally seviyan papad is ready to store or serve.
