Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Raw Mangoes: 500 gms

  • Fenugreek Powder: 1 tsp

  • Rai dal: 50 gms

  • Groundnut oil: 2 tbsp

  • Turmeric powder: 1 tsp

  • Hing: 1 tsp

  • Salt: 2 tsp or to taste

  • Refined oil: 10-12 tbsp

  • Red chilli powder: 4-5 tbsp

Directions

  • 01

    Take red chilli powder, turmeric powder and fenugreek powder in a bowl

  • 02

    Heat groundnut oil in a small pan

  • 03

    Add hing

  • 04

    Now add this mixture to spices and mix it well

  • 05

    Add salt and ground rai dal and mix it again

  • 06

    Add raw mango pieces and mix it again

  • 07

    Keep it aside in an air tight container for 2 days

  • 08

    After 2 days heat vegetable oil in a dekchi

  • 09

    Add this hot oil in a container in which we have stored raw mangoes mixture
