  • raw mango chopped in chunks 2 cups

  • Chopped jaggery or gud 3/4 th cup

  • Methi seeds or Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Jeera 1 teaspoon

  • Heeng or asafoetida powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli/ laal mirch powder 2 teaspoons

  • Turmeric/ haldi powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt 2 teaspoons

  • Oil 2 -3 tablespoons

  • Mustard Seeds or Rai 1 teaspoon

  • Heat oil in a pan and prepare tadka by adding Rai,Jeera,Methi dana, Haldi Pdr,Red Chilly Pdr and Heeng
  • Add Raw mango salt ..mix well and cook covered till half done
  • Add Gud/ jaggery and cook without lid till it melts Mix well and Yummy Tangy Launji is ready . Let it cool completely naturally and store in glass jar,it stays preserved for more than 6 months Tastes Best with Puri, Paratha or Steamed Rice .. Enjoy. Tangilicious M Mangolicious Launji
