clean turmeric roots , peel and chop into small pieces
Chop green chillies and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and cumin seeds. let it splutter.
Add hing, pickle masala, sugar, red chilli powder and mix well.
Add chillies into it and salt and saute for a while.
POur all this mixture on turmeric and mix it well.
Transfer it into an airtight jar and store refrigerated.
