* Wash and clean the crab well with water
* Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds & curry leaves
* Add chopped onions and saute it till 3/4th cooked
* Add ginger garlic paste at this stage and cook till the raw smell leaves
* Add chopped tomato and add required salt for the gravy
* Cover it and cook till the oil separates
* Add coriander powder, chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix well till the raw smell leaves.
* Add small amount of water to bind the masala well
* Now add the cleaned crab
* Mix well till the masalas are coated well in the crab
* Add some water and mix it
* Crab itself releases water while cooking so it needs only less water
* Cover it and cook till the water reduced completely. Stir in between
* The crab is cooked well and it's colorful
* Now add the pepper powder and mix well
* Adding pepper powder in the final stage gives more flavor and taste to the gravy
* Garnish it with coriander leaves
* Switch off and serve
* Yummy crab masala is ready
