Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 15 big ripe lemon


  • 10 small ripe lemon


  • 1/2 cup salt


  • 10 spoon chilly powder


  • 1 spoon roasted and ground methi mustard powder


  • 3 ladle groundnut or gingelly oil


  • 1 spoon mustard


  • 1 spoon jeera


  • 1/8 spoon hing


  • 1/4 spoon turmeric

Directions

  • Cut and extract juice from big lemons and strain
  • Slit the small lemons on all the four sides
  • Immerse in the extracted juice and add salt
  • Keep mixing daily once for ten days
  • Take care that all the lemon are nicely immersed in juice
  • Add the chilly powder, mustard methi powder and mix
  • Make tadka with oil, mustard, jeera, hing , turmeric and add to pickle after cooling
