  • 1 cup orange peel finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp red Chilli powder

  • 3 tsp sesame oil

  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds powder

  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds powder

  • 1/4 tsp hing


  • Firstly wash the orange peels and drain the water completely.
  • Next spread them over a towel and let them dry in room temperature for 2 hours.
  • take and chop the orange peel's as you desire . Put them in pressure cooker and cook them upto 3 whistles. then off the flame
  • Once the steam gets off cool it completely to the orange peel's
  • Now heat the oil in pan ,once oil is heat sufficiently add mustard seeds and allow to splutter them
  • After adjust the flame to low and add fenugreek and mustard seeds powder.
  • Next add red chilli powder and salt mix well.
  • Further add chopped cooked orange peel's immediately and give a good mix. the peel's gets well coated with spices
  • Now this pickle tastes better after a day.
  • Orange peel's Pickle's enjoy with Roti, chapati, or Rice etc...
  • My tip :- if you try this pickle. You won't ever trash the orange peel's. Because this pickle tastes seriously fabulous after a day.
