Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • White pumpkin 2 kg


  • Seasame seeds 1 kg


  • Urad daal 250 gms


  • Red chilli 25 gms


  • Asafoetida 1 tbsp


  • Jeera methi powder 2 tsp


  • Salt 1/2 tbsp


  • Ginger 200 gms


  • 5-6 big cardamoms

Directions

  • Urad daal should be soaked overnight
  • Grind it in mixer along with red chilli and ginger
  • Now add seasame seeds in it.
  • Add grated pumpkin after removing the peel
  • Mix it evenly
  • Add salt
  • Make bijire using bangle over plastic sheet in the sun
  • Let it dry for 3-4 days in sunlight
  • After 2-3 days turn bijore on other side
  • Fry them in oilturn it quickly on the other side
  • Fry for 30 seconds only so that they dont get burnt
