Serves : 4
  • 500 gms chicken cut into medium pieces

  • 100 gms butter

  • 2 tablespoon black pepper

  • 2 cubes cheese (grated)

  • 1/2 cup maida

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, beans, green peas)

  • 1 teaspoon salt (or according to taste)

  • 2 sliced tomatoes for garnishing

  • 1 teaspoon oregano for garnishing


  • CHEESE SAUCE :- Add 2tbsp butter in a non stick pan and heat it on low flame. Sprinkle the maida slowly slowly and keep stirring. As soon as the maida changes colour to light brown, slowly add the milk while continuing to stir. Add the cheese and stir slowly till maida and cheese melts properly. Add salt and pepper and remove from gas.
  • Boil the chicken and keep aside
  • In another non-stick cookware add the remaining butter and heat it on low flame.
  • Once the butter melts add the boiled chicken and fry it on medium flame till golden brown
  • Add the chopped vegetables, salt and pepper and cover the lid for 5 minutes
  • Finally add the cheese sauce and saute for 2-3 minutes
  • Sprinkle with oregano and garnish with sliced tomatoes and serve hot with garlic bread
