Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups spinach puree


  • 2 tbsp maize flour


  • 3 tbsp milk powder


  • 1 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1 1/2 cups suagr


  • 1 tsp white choco chips for decoration


  • 1 1/2 cups suagr


  • 2 tbsp puree ghee


  • 1 cups semolina


  • 1 1/2 cups pure ghee


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 2 cups water


  • 7-8 nos saffron strings

Directions

  • Take a wok and heat pure ghee, add maize flour and roast till golden in color.
  • Now add spinach puree and roast it on medium flame till thickens. Then add sugar and mix well.
  • Add milk powder and cardamom powder and roast for 5 minutes.
  • Take another wok and heat puree ghee
  • Then add Semolina and roast it well, meanwhile take another pan and add water and sugar and let it boil till sugar dissolves and add saffron strings
  • Now add this sugar syrup slowly slowly into halwa and cook it well.
  • Your sooji halwa is now ready,
  • . Assembling: Layer the bottom with spinach halwa
  • Now layer it with vanilla chips
  • Now layer the third layer with kesariya halwa
