Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 nos ingredients for rice flower:carrot finely chopped


  • 1 nos capsicum finely chopped


  • 1/2 cups grated paneer


  • 1/4 cups spring onion finely chopped


  • 1/2 cups cooked rice


  • 1 nos onion finely chopped


  • 1/8 tsp black pepper


  • 1/2 tsp oregano


  • 1/8 tsp chilli chopped


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1/2 cups uncooked basmati rice


  • 3-4 drop orange food colour


  • 3-4 drop green food colour

Directions

  • First divide uncooked rice in 3 portions. Now wash and soak uncooked rice for 30 minutes in green coloured , orange coloured and in simple water.
  • After 30 minutes drain water and spread rice on a cloth. Keep aside.
  • In a mixing bowl add cooked rice and rest of the ingredients. Mix it nicely.
  • Now wet your hands and take small portion from this mixture and make balls.
  • Now take vegetable balls and roll them on soaked rice.The rice will stick to them.
  • Put these rice coated vegetable flowers in steamer for 15 minutes.
  • The vegetable balls will magically transform into beautiful colourful flowers.
  • let it cool for 5 minutes . Remove carefully and serve hot with mustard sauce or any Chutney of your choice.
  • Yummy tri-colour rice flowers are ready to relish.
