Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 cup mustard oil

  • 250 gram red chilli

  • 2 Lemon

  • 3 tbsp salt /salt to test

  • black mustard seeds 40 grams/4 tsp

  • fennel seeds 2 tsp

  • 2 tablespoon fenugreek seeds

  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon carom seeds

  • 1 teaspoon black salt

  • 1teaspoon turmeric powder

  • Asafoetida 2.pinch

Directions

    Take a red chilli, wash it.any dry in son for 2to3 hours

  • 02

    Heat a pan and roast whole spices such fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds, black pepper. Stir and slightly roast the spices for up to 2 minutes turn of flame ,keep to cool

    Take oil to be added to pickle heat it up well

    As the whole spices cool down, add plain salt too,then coarsely griend in mixer jar . keep grinded spices in plate.

    Coarsely griend black mustard seeds separately put over the grinded spices.

    Oil has smoke up rightly ,turn off flame.let oil cool

    Add the rest of the species such as black salt,turmeric powder, asafoetida , lemon juice, in the grinded spices .add 2 teaspoon oil from pan the pickle and mix it

    Remove stalk from chilli. Slit the chilis form the center vertically, take out seeds and.pulp from it.preapare all chillies likewise.put the seeds from the chilli with spices mix. fill the chilli with spices mix. Keep the stuffed chilli in plate

    Take out the oil in a bowl dip each stuffed chilli in oil and take out,keep.it in separate bowl/plate

    Put the leftover over the chillies . fill up the sterilized containers. With the. Stuffed chilli pickle. Then close lid of the container and keep it in sunlight, cupboard or shelve to turn soft for 4 or morr days
